Study on Tibet's Poverty Alleviation under the Sight of "Belt and Road"

The “Belt and Road Initiative” is the grand vision and the Chinese plan put forward by General Secretary Xi Jinping in thinking deeply about the future and destiny of mankind and the development trend of China and the world, promoting the common prosperity of the world and building a community of human destiny. It is Xi Jinping’s socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era. The organic component is an important starting point for the strategy of governing the country in the new era and an important platform for building a community of human destiny. The “Belt and Road” is the road to peace, the road to openness, the road to innovation, the road to civilization, and the road to prosperity. This is not only a summary and affirmation of the achievements of the “Belt and Road” in the past six years, but also pointed out the direction for bettering the work of poverty alleviation under the vision of “One Belt, One Road”. Leading the people to create a better life is the goal of our party's unswerving struggle. We will resolutely win the battle against poverty and let the poor and poverty-stricken areas, including Tibet, join the country in entering a comprehensive well-off society, which is related to the overall situation of the party and the state. The “Belt and Road Initiative” has given Tibet a more important strategic position, and it has also brought new development opportunities to Tibet’s poverty alleviation under the “Belt and Road” vision. This article focuses on learning and understanding Xi Jinping's important strategic thinking on poverty alleviation and development, and combines the actual situation of poverty alleviation in Tibet to analyze and put forward relevant suggestions. This paper believes that XiJinping's important strategic thinking on poverty alleviation and development is a theoretical innovation of poverty alleviation and development with Chinese characteristics in the new era, and is an action guide for Tibet to win the fight against poverty under the vision of “One Belt, One Road”. Focusing on development and focusing on poverty alleviation are the core tenets of the “Belt and Road Initiative” and one of the key tasks of the current work in Tibet. The article combines the main problems facing Tibet's poverty alleviation under the "One Belt, One Road" perspective, and puts forward the practice path of Tibet's poverty alleviation under the "One Belt, One Road" perspective.
